The FriesenPress team rolled up our sleeves (literally!) the other day at the local Canadian Blood Services Clinic.
According to Canadian Blood Services, approximately every minute of
every day, someone in Canada needs blood. Over half of all Canadians
say they or a family member have needed blood or blood products for
surgery or for medical treatment.

Our team thought we'd help the cause – we're a diverse bunch and our blood reflects it! Our Marketing Coordinator even has the very rare AB Negative blood type, which he shares with only about 0.5% of all of North America. Plus, an adventure out of the office with your friends/co-workers to give blood?
We're practically a Vampire Fiction novel.
(but without Robert Pattinson)
So, how much blood does it take to save a life?
The good news is that in just one donation, we can save some lives. Oh, and did I mention it's a lot of fun to get out with your friends/co-workers for some life-saving team-building?
